FOIA Response from U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) on the White House Contacts Policy – July 19, 2017

After the White House Contacts Policy of January 2017 was disclosed in a news story, we sought to learn if the White House, as it indicated at the time, developed it into a more robust policy in line with historic norms to prevent the politicization of law enforcement and other impartial functions across the federal government.  The USTR, a component of the White House, only produced the narrow January 2017 policy.
